Is capitalism the worst economic mode for the environment?

Although capitalism does encourage people to produce the most amount of capital for the least amount of cost, it does not necessarily mean it is the worst economic mode for the environment. It’s true, mass production does take mass consumption of resources. However capitalism also lets people freely pursue their ideas and invent new technologies to help the environment.

I agree.  It is only as good or bad as it’s users.  Lately we have seen people invest in the green industry and thus capitalism isn’t wholly bad for the environment. When there are no governmental regulations, however, that is when capitalism is bad for the environment, as well as politics and economics.
