Iam asking this question fro environmental issues for my product design coursework
No form of plywood is eco friendly. Although there have been manufactures claiming they sell eco friendly plywood, the products remain controversial. First off, plywood is made of three or more thin layers of wood bonded together with an adhesive. The adhesive used is generally toxic and therefore bad for the environment when it goes airborne. Also some plywood sheets use chemicals to give the plywood a clean appearance and improve its resistance to flame and decay.
