Can you usually find poison oak wherever poison ivy is?

Not always, but sometimes. The two are related, but poison ivy usually grows as a vine through tree branches or up a trunk in the United States and southern Canada. Poison oak grows in the Pacific Northwest and southwestern Canada as a shrub, as well as poison sumac, which grows in the eastern United States.
