Different colors of glass, like green and blue, cannot be recycled together because the resulting glass would be muddled and weaker, so it is not accepted at some facilities. Ask your local recycler if they accept blue glass.
Colored glass can be recycled. For example at Purdue University if you take your items to the recycling center, they have separate bins for clear, green and brown glass. I am not sure about blue glass, but if it was recycled with only blue glass I don’t think that would cause a issue with the strength or quality of the glass.
