Protein shouldn’t make up the largest part of your diet and replacing a balanced meal with a bar isn’t very good for your system. Once in awhile, understandable, but it shouldn’t be used normally.
Depends on the bar. Some bars are meant to just be snacks, like NutriGrain bars or Quaker Chewy bars. However, bars with more protein, like Clif or Builder Bars, have many nutrients and a little more calories. So, these kinds can be more interchangeable with meals.
