Forest fires are known to spread at a rate of 6.7 mph in a dense forest and up to 14 mph in dry grasslands. Humans have an average running speed of roughly 15 mph, with professional athletes reaching record speeds of nearly 30 mph, though this may be slowed by breathing problems due to smoke inhalation or the need to avoid tripping on dense forest growth. In theory it is possible, though difficult, for a human to outrun a forest fire.
well, yes, but you would have to run extreemly fast. and have expirience running through forests.
