The only way to increase the concentration of salt in salt water is to add more salt. There is a maximum salt concentration in which the water is completely saturated with salt. This means it is actually impossible to make it any saltier. The solubility of sodium chloride in water is around 36 g/100 ml. This will increase slightly with the temperature of the water. I cannot think of any benefits of increasing the concentration of salt water however, given that people spend a lot of time and money trying to desalinate salt water.
