Can you change a gas back into a liquid?

Yes. There are various ways to do this. The most obvious is to cool it. This happens when you put something you just cooked (so hot that it is steaming) in a sealed container and refrigerate it. The condensation that appears later on the lid of the container is the result of cooled gas particles.

Cooling a gas to a low enough temperature will cause it to become a liquid; this is known as condensation. And easily seen example is the droplets of water that form on a car window because of cold air; this liquid is condensed from the water vapor in the surrounding air.
