Sometimes products that claim to be good for the environment actually are not, a phenomenon known as “greenwashing”. To ensure the products you by are indeed good for the environment, look for the Six Sins of Greenwashing: the hidden trade-off, no proof, vagueness, irrelevance, lesser of two evils and fibbing. Any company putting out truly eco-friendly products will not commit any of these sins.
