It depends on the kind, I suppose, but it’s pretty easy to recycle fabric yourself. You can scrap it and use it to sew new things, create makeshift dish rags, and any number of other possible uses.

You can also donate old or unwanted blankets and towels to shelters (both human and animal), and of course the sample applies with clothes.
