Can we put recycled water back into our groundwater to make it drinkable?

    There are piping systems that can remove and add water back into underground sources.

    Yes, recycled waste water can be safely put back into an aquifer for future potable usage.  This is actually the same phenomenon that happens naturally, with surface water percolating and filtering back into ground supplies and then being extracted later.  The IRWD in Orange Count CA already practices a form of indirect potable reuse, injecting recycled waste water into their aquifer which is then later used for potable uses.
