The Prius is actually already one of Toyota’s most aerodynamic vehicles. With its a nearly flat underside, a smooth front end, integrated valance panels and rear spoiler, it’s already very aerodynamic. It has a coefficient drag rating of only 0.26.
For practical purposes, I believe that the Prius is about as aerodynamic as it can be. Obviously something like a race car is the most aerodynamic type of vehicle, having no back seats for lightness, etc., but for the role that the Prius plays (a consumer vehicle) I think it is at the peak.
