    Yes – bananas are grown in Hawaii and Florida, but only in small amounts because their climates aren’t very conducive to banana growth.

    Bananas aren’t grown commercially in the US, but they can be grown to a small extent in parts of Hawaii and Florida. They tend to grow in the tropics, where the temperature is warm and consistent. The US imports most of its bananas from Latin America. Other places that grow bananas are Thailand and other SE Asian countries, in addition to some African countries like Cameroon and Cote d’Ivoire.
