Can tribes in the Amazon kill the beef that is destroying their forest?

Not without major reprecussions. These tribes could kill the cattle, but they could then be prosecuted for the destruction of property. It might not even go that far, and the natives could be punished by displacement and in some cases death without anyone knowing about it. Oil companies in the Amazon use displacement to move the tribes so they can drill for oil, but they do not even take into account the impact on fresh water sources and animals that can devastate native populations. why should we think the beef industry would be any different.
