Tornado watchers, by gathering information about the frequency, intensity, and behavior of tornadoes, provide more data about weather patterns. Weather patterns, in turn, reflect climate change. Climate change should manifest in tornadoes and other severe weather, so tornado watchers should, at the very least, be able to contribute to our ever-increasing compendium of climate data.
