Can too much CO2 be bad for plants?

    Quite the opposite, actually. Recent studies have demonstrated that higher atmospheric carbon dioxide levels increase crop yields. This finding was corroborated by a controlled study in which plants were sprayed with carbon dioxide; the crop yields of barley, wheat, and beets jumped 10%.
