Can there be asexual animals?

Yes, there are many types of bacteria that reproduce asexually. Aphids, and some reptiles and amphibians also reproduce asexually. There are also some cases in turkeys and hammerhead sharks where something goes wrong with fertilization and the result forms clones that have only one sex (male or female).
