Can species that live in certain regions be transplanted into other regions that have the same features?

    Yes, this has been a huge problem worldwide.  “Introduced species” have historically become “invasive species”.  It is hard to know the real impact that bringing a species to a new place will have, and the result is often that the species takes over by eating the food supply of another species or killing other species.  Wikipedia has a list of introduced species: and this site explains the impact of many introduced species:
