Can someone who is blind still see in her dreams?

There are mixed views on this. Some studies reveal that congenitally blind people (blind from a very young age,) do not dream visual images, while others conclude that they do. For example a study at the University of Hartford in 1999 determined that congenitally blind people tend not to have visual dreams while those that become blind at seven or older were likely to see more images. People with congenital blindness were found to have dreams with more instances of sound. Regardless, blind people have imaginatively rich dreams like people with sight.
