It is a somewhat difficult material to recycle compared to most materials, but there are certainly plants that handle rubber recycling. Used and waste rubber may be reclaimed by grinding followed by devulcanization with steam and chemicals, refining, and eventual re-manufacturing.
Just gather the rubber products you no longer need and find the nearest recycling center. Recycled rubber has many beneficial uses. Have you ever seen the rubber mulch used as padding in playgrounds? That’s often made out of recycled rubber.
Rubber can be recycled in multiple ways: it can be used to make surface for playgrounds, landscapes and arena footing, it can be used as fuel and used for other materials.
