People are capable of timeshifting their biological clocks to basically any schedule they want. However, it takes a few weeks to a couple months for all of the bodies biological rhythms to get back in sync with each other on the new schedule . If you keep humans in a constant light situation 24 hours a day people will set their own “days” with consistent sleep wake cycles and they are sometimes longer than a 24 hour day, usually closer to 25. Also some experiments have shown that in constant light environments people cannot change their day length by more than 4 hours and still be healthy (IE less than a 20 hour day or more than a 28 hour day).
