Yes. Many of the facilities in an old plant can be reused or refurbished for future manufacturing. As a matter of fact, there was a sort of competition between a few cities in California to be the new location of the Tesla plant. Each city had old manufacturing plants, and Tesla chose Downey, CA, for its old NASA manufacturing site.
