There is currently no vaccine on the market to protect against the HIV virus, however, the HIV Vaccine Trials Network (HVTN) is currently conducting the largest HIV vaccine study to date. The study is called HVTN 505. It started in 2009 in twelve U.S. cities and has now expanded to other countries, including Thailand. The vaccine has shown some good results in primates, preventing infection in two-thirds of the monkeys, 50% of the time. Scientists are hoping for similar results in humans. Human volunteers in the study will be monitored for 5 years.
Just a note — the success rate of the vaccine is nowhere near the protection from barrier protection (ie: condoms), or abstinence.
