Can neon colored paper be recycled at all, anywhere?

Unfortunately, it is going to be hard to find anyone willing to go through the work to recycle this type of paper. There is a substantial amount of dye in neon colored paper that is referred to as “beater dye”. This is when the fibers of the paper are soaked in dye before being formed in to paper. Colored papers can still be recycled, but the paper that goes through this process can not. To tell if your paper is recyclable, tear a piece in half. If there are white fibers inside of the paper, it can be recycled. If the color goes all the way through, you are out of luck.
