If they are carbon copy receipts, no. But if they are just paper receipts they can be recycled in most municipal waste streams. Just make sure that none of them have credit card numbers remaining on them.
If the receipt is printed on thermal paper (most receipts are nowadays), they contain contaminants that reduce the quality of the resulting recycled paper.
Better options are shopping at places that send you e-receipts (e.g., Apple Stores), print receipts on front and back (e.g., Whole Foods), and not asking for a receipt to be printed when you have an option (e.g., ATMs, gas stations, some cafés/restaurants).
