Some houseplants, such as African violets and aloe, are acid-tolerant, and don’t mind the acidity of coffee. Some plants may even appreciate a dose to boost their pH. On the other hand, too much can hurt them. Watch out for yellowing of the veins, as this is a sign of too much acid.
