can I save water by taking a shower?

Unfortunately, taking a shower uses considerably more water than not taking a shower (around 70 gallons for ten minutes of running water, in conventional showerheads). I’ve found conflicting figures regarding its efficiency in comparison to bathing; Wikipedia claims that showers use less water, but the other website below states that the average normal bath is only around 50 gallons.

In the end, showering every other day insteady of daily and keeping them as short as you can is probably the best way to stay clean and save water.
