I have prairie sky poplars and was wondering instead of buying new seedlings from my local green house if I could make my own seedlings from my own trees or cuttings.
Yes, as long as you have a viable germinated seed and a place to plant the seed, you should be fine. Of course, if you are having trouble finding a naturally germinated seed, you can use “assisted” germination. If all else fails, you can pay royalties to the researcchers who developed this species of tree and have them send you a viable seed to plant like you did before.
