Vitamin bottles are recyclable, though every town has its own rules for curbside recycling. See your town’s guidelines. They may refer to number on the bottom of the bottle, or they may describe the bottle as having a “neck and shoulders.”
I found a website that somewhat answers the question. It seems that usually bottles numbered 1, 2, or 5 can be recycled, but vitamin and prescription bottles are the exception?
