Yes you can, particularly the magnet is valuable, but it may be difficult to find a place to take them. There are some institutions designed to take old electronics and either make them work again or reuse old parts. Best Buy is the best suggestion I can offer because they have so many stores. They will accept and recycle old electronics whether you bought the speakers there or not. It is part of their “greener together” program. Or, there is a place in Oregon called Next Step Recycling which will accept things through the mail. They also accept nearly all electronics, but for an upgraded version they may charge.
