First, the baby bottle should be inspected to see what type of plastic the bottle is made of. Most bottles are made of #4 or #7 plastics. Most recycling companies do not take these plastics. If they don’t, it is recommended that the bottle manufacturer is contacted. Many times they sponsor recycling programs. If this does not work, they can be donated to a local women’s or goodwill agency.
