Yes, but it will need to be a location with lots of sun and at least 15 feet off the ground, to protect the bats from predators. Ideally, there should be a water source nearby, so the mother bat doesn’t have to leave her young for too long. Bats are supposedly less attracted to bat houses in trees, and bat houses mounted on buildings retain heat better and are less likely to attract predators.
