Hmm…I’m going to say, absolutely not. These fish are critically endangered, and by taking one out of the wild, you are defeating its chance to reproduce and continue on in the wild. Keeping one would be an extraordinarily bad idea, and most likely very illegal.
Even if the fish were not endangered, you should not take any wild animal into your home. They will likely not survive long if they are not bred in captivity and could be carrying diseases, bacteria, or fungus that could later proved dangerous.
