Fused glass should, in theory, behave the same as any other glass. It stands to reason that it would be able to survive well in a reasonable outdoor environment. However, it is recommended that you form your fused glass a little thicker, so that it is less likely to break. You can also try using opaque titanium and zirconium glass, which is very strong and will not break under normal pressure.
