No. The iPad does not support Adobe Flash, which wipes out half of what you would do on the internet.
No. There’s no usb (only supports iPod connector), no camera, no SD card slot, no extensive storage space, no CD/DVD drive, and above all, one cannot multitask.
Without a keyboard, the iPad makes it extraordinarily difficult to do anything text-intensive – this includes writing papers and long emails, programming, and data entry.
The iPad generally is not geared towards content creation. Instead, it’s about content consumption. So if all you do on your computer is experience things other people have made (without Adobe Flash, that is), you might be fine. But writing, editing images, creating art, and other modes of content creation are far more difficult.
