Yes. You’ll need to purchase a special composting container, preferably one with a charcoal filter to eliminate the odor. Once you have the container, the rest is easy. Just scrape old food-scraps (anything except meat which does not decompose quickly enough) into the container and wait. To speed up composting, add nitrogen-rich dry leaves or pine needles about once a week.
