can the gorillas live in other rain forests?

Other than in zoos, gorilla habitat is specifically designed to sustain the species. The areas in which they live is very specific to their needs. The rain forests in Africa provide enough room for the species as well as vegetation and protection. Although a rain forest is generally characterized as having 68-78 inches of rain per year, each rain forest ecosystem is different from the next. This is why some gorillas are found in one area and some are found in others. This makes it hard to determine how gorillas would fare in other rain forests, but depending on how well the species adapts to their new surroundings they might prosper or parish.
