Can Ethanol 85 become a primary energy source for cars?

Yes. E85 is a great alternative to gas, being that 85% of this fuel would be ethanol and 15% gas. In the U.S. alone there is around 2200 stations and more expansion is planned. The one downside however is that E85 is made from crops, and there is an increasing conflict on the demand for grain worldwide which consequently affects how much grain should be alloted for food export and use and how much should be used for fuel production.
