Can enzymes from termites really be used to make biofuels?

It seems possible.  The rich microbes in their stomaches seem to be able to produce biofuel energy.  Rather than the enzymes themselves being used as a biofuel, the enzymes are used to break down plants in a manner to more quickly produce bio-energy with them.
