Can eating leafy greens help people who are prone to nosebleeds?

Sort of. Some nose bleeds are caused by Vitamin K or Vitamin C deficiencies. Leafy greens are a great source of both C and K. There are however many different causes of nosebleeds and leafy greens can’t really solve any of the rest of them.

Leafy greens may or may not help. What can help however are peanuts and especially the flaky outer peanut skin that encases the peanut. This outer shell has known nutrients that can aid in preventing or lessening nose bleeds. So next time when you are shucking peanuts, leave on that soft outer casing!
