    Onions and garlic are definitely bad for dogs. They can cause anemia, sometimes severely.

    If you accidentally fed your dog something with onions or garlic in it, don’t get upset.  One small ingestion shouldn’t cause any problems.  But regular small doses or one large dose may cause some issues with the red blood cells.
