Can corals recover from climate change damage?

Yes and No.  No, when the coral dies it becomes a skeleton, it is known as coral “bleaching”  However, dead coral, and even random objects such as blocks, pipes, and the like can be used as a platform for new coral to grow.  This is known as Coral Transplant.

However, these just give an easy place for new larvae to grow, clearly this does not solve the problem of rising temperatures, or pollution in the ocean.
