Color blindness can not be cured, but people can be taught to possibly distinguish different shades for color.
Color blindness means that you are unable to tell colors apart, and there are varying degrees of severity. Color blindness can either be inherited or acquired. If inherited, it is in your genes and means that you have incorrect or missing visual pigments in your eyes. Acquired color blindness can develop because of disease, aging, or medicinal side-effects. There is no cure for inherited color blindness, but acquired color blindness can sometimes be cured by correcting the underlying cause. There have been special lenses ang glasses created to help those who are color-blind, but it is not a permanent cure.
