I’m not sure what “cured” means in the clay business but if it’s similar to the term fired then the answer is YES 🙂 Clay, specifically Kaolin Clay, can be fired to create porcelain pieces.

Are you referring to pottery clay or clay dirt? If you are talking about pottery clay, then yes. If you are talking about clay dirt, it depends on the composition of the dirt. Never use clay dirt to make any pottery that you would use with food. It can be contaminated and then contaminate your food.
