Can bed bugs be so small that they can live under your skin?

No, bed bugs do not live under the skin.  It is not uncommon for skin to become inflamed or irritated after being bitten.  The salivary fluid injected by the bugs can cause a small white bump which may appear to be the bug living under the skin.  It is possible that the irritation is an allergy condition.

Bed bugs do not live under your skin.  But, several species of mites can.  These little parasites burrow under the skin and cause discomfort as well as leaving visible tunnels.  If you suspect that some small criters are living under your skin, see a Dermatologist right away.
