Can pollution be organic?

    Pollution can be organic.

USDA Organic prohibits the use of synthetic chemicals in agriculture, but anything that is introduced into an environment in too much of a quantity or concentration can be harmful.

The main origin of organic pollution is in the form of feces. Animal waste can be used to enrich topsoil but if too much is used and washes away with the rain then it can overwhelm waterways and cause many problems. Human feces being disposed of improperly is one of the largest sources of organic pollution.
