It is possible. They would have to use all glasses, bottles, and kegs for drinks. They might be able to do cans, but only if they all are recycled. As for napkins, they should all be fabric and could be made from recycled fibers. It would be difficult to serve food with zero waste. If they bought products, they would not be able to be in disposable containers. But if they served fresh vegetable dishes, those leftovers could go in a compost. I am probably missing a lot of things, but I am not very familiar with running a bar.
There’s no way to do anything without creating some sort of waste. The best we can hope for in any venture is to minimize waste and reuse anything that can be reused.
