Can bacteria develop resistance against natural antibiotic products as easily as chemical ones?

No, because natural products with antimicrobial effects (e.g. Vitamin C, Zinc, Echinacea extract, cranberry, etc.) do not operate in the same way in the body as conventional antibiotics like Erythromycin, Amoxicillin, etc. Conventional antibiotics essentially kill off all the bacteria they contact, including beneficial species in the gut that help keep the immune system strong. Conversely, natural products derived directly from foods and plants stimulate the immune system rather than depressing it.

I should add that conventional antibiotics are medically necessary in some instances; however if one wishes to strengthen their immune system in the absence of a medically serious infection, natural immune boosters will accomplish this.
