Pretty much – you can definitely recycle newspapers, copy paper, lined paper, computer paper, and magazines (as long as you take out the staples.) What makes something non-recyclable is usually that there is a non-paper component, like the sticky part of envelopes (cut it off) or paper cups with plastic coatings.
