The spores from algae are everywhere in all parts of the Earth: the waters fresh and marine, the atmosphere, free-floating and in precipitation or mixed with dust, and in organisms, (including humans). However, the spores don’t grow into algae everywhere because the algae needs the right environmental conditions to thrive (most commonly around bodies of water).
